Revelation 4-5

I'd always, always wanted to write a song on the songs in Revelation 5. Admittedly, a few songs have beaten me to this, but still I decided one day to sit down and decide to do it.

And then as I started, I looked at the context a little. And I noticed a very interesting progression that I had never noticed before. Starting from Revelation 4...

Revelation 4:2
"At once I was in the Spirit, and there before me was a throne in heaven..." - and God is on the throne.

Revelation 4:8
"Day and night they NEVER stop saying...." (emphasis added) - to God

Revelation 5:9
"And they sang a NEW song..." (emphasis added) - to the Lamb

This really hits me. Cos I've always wondered about the Holy Spirit in terms of worship. Do we worship Him as God? Or does he aid us in worship? Or what? And what about worshipping God and worshipping Jesus? Is there any difference?
